New Latitude Movers Story
New Latitude got its start in 1997 as a local antique transfer service company in Birmingham Alabama. We were, and remain, involved with all aspects of the antique transportation realm for our clients, including, receiving and unloading shipments from Europe, storage, in-house transfer, delivery, and final placement.
After gaining a reputation as the premier transfer service for Birmingham's finest antique dealers, it was not long before customers requested the same personal touch when moving. Thus, Changes In Latitude Moving Service was born. Since then we have evolved into a unique moving service that includes local, long distance, and commercial moves.
In 2008 came the merge of People Movers and Changes in Latitude, thus creating NEW LATITUDE. People Movers started as a local moving company and found a niche for delivering high end retail furniture. Their delivery service gained much recognition and is now trusted by several nationwide companies to handle their deliveries in the surrounding area. The two companies compliment each other well and now function as one.
Headquartered in Pelham, AL, New Latitude is now able to meet all the needs of their customers when it comes to moving, delivering, and storing their VALUABLES.
